I worked on UI design and production, as well as UX wireframing, and even sound design for the electric luxury car Karma Revero.
My primary focus was on refining user interface elements of the driver's display screens.
In this detailed mockup notice the two inset screens. The design needed to be special, intuitive, seemless, and elegant, plus it must comply with government and industry guidelines for iconography, and usability.
After UX wireframes, I illustrated a simple, yet accurate line drawing of the interior instruments and screens for our team to easily show different scenarios.
This is the "DIS" or Driver Instrument Screen. I refined the PSDs for use by the development team, as well as cleaned up and refined the graphic elements.
The elegant design features many visual cues, and digital gauges.
Below is the Infotainment touch screen, where the driver can control many aspects of the car. I did numerous refinements to the iconography, and UI elements.
This is the climate control, with pop-up modules.
I refined the Navigation screen UI as well as Audio, Wireless connections, Vehicle Health, Service messages, Phone, and more.
